She is a member of BB&K’s ARC: Advanced Records Center.
Melizza has a bachelor’s degree in pre-law and an associate’s degree in paralegal studies.
Melizza Gonzalez is a paralegal and Certified E-Discovery Specialist in Best Best & Krieger LLP’s ARC: Advanced Records Center, which provides comprehensive and cost-effective support for records-related matters, including California Public Records Act request processing. Under the supervision of attorneys, Melizza works closely with clients to determine the scope of searches and disclosures of responsive public records and reviews databases of documents to determine responsiveness. Melizza has more than 5 years of paralegal experience, mostly with public agencies in California. In addition, she is certified by the Attorney General of the State of Texas on the Texas Public Information Act.
Prior to joining BB&K, Melizza spent time pursuing her dream of cooking professionally. She received her culinary arts certificate from Mt. San Antonio College and continues to cook alongside other chefs. She’s also worked as a paralegal for the County of San Bernardino’s Self Help Center, Los Angeles Unified School District’s Office of General Counsel and at a private firm handling bankruptcies.
Melizza grew up and still lives in Chino with her son. She enjoys cooking, painting, traveling, watching baseball (she’s a Yankees fan) and, most of all, spending time with her son, who keeps her very busy with school and sports activities.
